ACHIEVE SMOOTHER INSTALLATIONS
AND IMPROVE PRODUCTION USING TUBULARS TAILORED FOR YOUR JOB

CUSTOMIZED TUBULAR PRODUCTS

Novomet customized tubular products are made-to-order and include flow couplings, blast joints, wireline re-entry guides, perforated joints, casing crossovers, and more – all designed to improve fluid movement and well control. Tubular products are made per specific customer requirements for threads, internal and outside diameters, and lengths. They meet all API requirements and are constructed of high-quality steel or other specified metallurgies. Fully tested to meet work specifications and environmental controls, they are easy to install and maintain.

BENEFITS

Ensure smooth installations

Meet your specific well needs and install quickly without complication
Extend your production life

Manage challenging environments, such as high temperatures, erosion, and corrosion, to prevent mechanical failures
Reduce interventions

Avoid tubing replacement or repairs due to erosion or turbulent flow

applications

  • All oil and gas wells
  • Harsh or turbulent well environments

capabilites

  • Standard API ID
  • All standard oilfield requirements met for threads, ID, OD, and lengths

features

  • Pre-testing ensures protection of tubing from erosion due to inflow of fluids
  • Customized sizes maximize flow movement in all types of wells
tubular products, tubulars

Available products include:

  • Flow couplings – thick-walled standard outside diameter (OD) tubulars with a slightly reduced inside diameter (ID) installed adjacent to changes in tubing ID to stabilize flow around the ID changes; in length of 3 ft. (1 m) or longer
  • Blast joints – positioned opposite perforations to protect the tubing string from the abrasive action of flow gas and fluids; used in cross-flow situations such as across perforations, surface gas injections, and multilateral junctions
  • Tubing and casing crossovers – components with different thread types or sizes to be connected together in one string to reduce the effect of erosion on flow; dimensions will match the thread connection that is changing, with the OD matching the coupling size of the larger connection and the ID matching the smaller connection (the ID change uses a 20- to 30-degree taper)
