Regional results were announced remotely on April 9.
Russian Exporter of the Year awards go to organizations and individual entrepreneurs who have achieved the greatest success in exporting non-primary and non-energy goods, works, services, and inventive solutions.
In the Perm region, 44 exporting companies were nominated across seven categories. Novomet-Perm JSC was named the regional winner in the Big Business category. The company supplies high-tech products to a wide range of Russian and international oil companies in 25 countries. Exports account for almost 40% of Novomet revenues.
2020 Exporter of the Year awards will be determined as nominated companies advance through qualifying stages. The regional stage was the first step in this qualifying process.
Regional winners advance to federal district competitions. Federal district winners advance to the federal stage. Final national award winners will be named in a ceremony at the Made in Russia International Export Forum.
Organizers of Russia Exporter of the Year awards include the Russian Export Center, the Perm Krai Government, and the Perm Krai Export Support Center.
